The Bloomfield Public Library is now offering Wi-Fi hotspots for checkout! If you don't have internet at home, or you've hit your data limit for the month, or you just want to stay connected while on vacation, you can check out a hotspot for two weeks and use it to fit your needs.

ELIGIBILITY

Bloomfield residents, 18 years or older, with a valid Bloomfield Public Library card in good standing, are eligible to check out a hotspot. There is a limit of one hotspot per household at a time.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• The Bloomfield Public Library is not responsible for any liability, damages or expense resulting from use or misuse of the Wi-Fi hotspot, connection of the Wi-Fi hotspot to other devices, or data loss resulting from use of Wi-Fi hotspot.

• Wi-Fi hotspots can be borrowed for 2 weeks with an overdue fee of $5 per day. If lost or damaged, the replacement fee is $100.

• Wi-Fi hotspots will be turned off and wireless service will be terminated if the Wi-Fi hotspot is not returned on the due date.

• The Wi-Fi hotspot must be returned to the Bloomfield Public Library when it is open; it cannot be put into the bookdrop.

• The Bloomfield Public Library reserves the right to refuse service to patrons who abuse equipment or who are repeatedly late in returning electronic devices.

• The Bloomfield Public Library is not responsible for information accessed, obtained or disseminated while using this device. Any actions that lead to criminal prosecution are the responsibility of the user, not the Bloomfield Public Library.
